Reserve Dja

9 days / 8 nights from Yaoundé
We're off to discover a forest that has been preserved and immense
since the dawn of time, and to meet the extremely ancient Baka Pygmies and Badjue civilisations. We'll be trekking for several days. From village to village, we'll discover the way of life, beliefs and ancestral practices of these riverside peoples. We will also discover a magnificent virgin forest with giant trees, an extraordinary natural environment that is home to humans, animals and plants. We will cross the equatorial forest through unprecedented landscapes, exceptional canopies, and we will probably be lulled by the cries of birds, monkeys and other animals from sunrise to sunset and during the night.
The spirit of the trip
A stay in the heart of the equatorial forest will plunge you into the world of the Bantu and the authentic inhabitants of the forest, the Bakas. It takes place at the centre of this immense living composition that is the forest, in a thrilling natural setting, and highlights the cohabitation between man and nature.
