Pongo-Songo is a sanctuary for chimpanzees run by the Papaye association, which aims to provide a safe place to live and take in youngsters whose parents have fallen victim to poaching. ITINERARY
Day
1: DOUALA - DIZANGUE - MOUANKO
Departure
from Douala for the Ossa Lakes of Dizangue or Tissongo, the choice

stay.
Day
2: MOUANKO - PONGO SONGO
After
breakfast, excursion to Pongo Songo. Excursion to Pongo Songo, walks
through the mangroves towards Pongo Songo to discover the
chimpanzees, visit to Marienberg first Catholic station in Cameroon
created by the Pallotine fathers in 1890. Picnic lunch. Return to
Mouanko. Walk to meet and share with the local people.
Dinner and
overnight stay.
Day
3: MOUANKO -YÔYO - DOUALA
Enjoy
breakfast. You will discover fish smoking techniques in the
fishermen's villages. Visit the beaches of Yôyo and relax at the
beach. Return to Douala. Transfer to the hotel or airport. End of the
tour.
